Coy Tapley: handhelds. they don't have any good ones out. i heard microsoft MAY be making an xbox handheld. called the 180
Stephnie Patout: Freelancer.com
Margy Sandquist: when out i like handhelds, but when you are in the house, a console is better, because it has better game play, graphics, and it feels as if it's all around you.
Eva Lichlyter: yes I play my ds a lot
Idell Mulliniks: I prefer consoles because the graphics are better and the screen is bigger. But, handhelds are also good they're great when you're on the go and can be played anytime the only downsides are the graphics and the screen size.
Armanda Hertel: im new to Second life, i've verified my age and have traveled a bit but don't know how to interact with other avatars, can someone tell me how?
Terrell Voltz: You just copy & paste it....unless your putting them there for your PSP, in which case you have to make certain folders. If that's what your doing there is a medi! a manager for download on the psp website that would help you fix it instead.
Dorine Nurre: consoles because:1. they have better graphics (excluding GCN N64)2. better game selection3. alot more features than handhelds.handhelds are obviously made for travelling gaming, but consoles take the cake for max gaming...Show more
Eli Trapeni: Yeah i do :)I love the nintendo ds, its awesome! :D
Rosella Figliola: I want handhelds, I used to wish residing house consoles and that i do no longer why I became handy held. that's the reason the Wii U would be appropriate i would be waiting to play (probably all 1st social gathering Nintendo video games) on the massive demonstrate, or i can play it like a hand held.( I play my handhelds in my residing house so the Wii united statesconstrained portability wont be a situation.)
Peter Lapoint: Definitly console.Way bigger screen.I have not encountered any good First Person Shooters for handhelds. And I don't have a handh! eld so that may be why i like console better.Better controller! s/controls.
Jacinta Moitoso: Dude, make a sprint software. collect it and placed it on a disk and deliver it with your resume. you could furnish up some code which you have accomplished besides. this could seem sturdy on your resume. continually stick to even however they say 2-3 years of programming adventure.
Somer Distilo: I prefer consoles. Better online, which is the only way I play. Plus the graphics are much better and a larger game selection because console have been around longer. I have my Xbox 360 in my room so I don't disturb anyone. Handhelds are still fun though. Bring my PSP whenever I go on a trip or know I'm going somewhere where I'll have nothing to do.
Willa Holte: For me I'd say it's 50/50. When I'm home I prefer sitting in my room and playing my games. When I'm out though I like the fact that I can take my games with me esp if I'm going to be out for a while with nothing to do.home games:pros:better graphicsbetter selection of gamesbig! ger screendon't need batteriescons:have to keep them at homeif on a shared tv, you have to wait till the tv is free to play themhandheld:pros:great for travelingcan get online when you're away from home (if you have something like a PSP)no worrying about having to turn it off cause someone wants to watch the tvcons:batteries need to be charged/changed a lotsmall screengraphics aren't as goodbroken easily if you're a klutz (guilty of that one)if there's no signal you can't get online...Show more
Herma Ellebrecht: nah there are some fun games for PSP and DS but you don't get as much out of them as console games.
Shane Getler: I have an idea for a game (micromanaging with many menus and dialog boxes) that I want to create, but I have no programming skills and I don't know of where to find a game engine that would meet my needs. Also, I would be starting small and selling the game on Apple's appstore.I figure that it would be more costly to start from scratch, so I! 'm considering finding a good game engine to set the foundation of what! I need, then having the programmer further tweak it until I'm happy with the final product. How would I go about finding a game engine that I need? To be specific, there would be a lot of:[Choice 1] [Choice 2] [Choice 3] (x) Do this for all future events)However, if it isn't TOO costly, I'm inclined to just create a thorough blueprint and let the person do the entirety of the work. What I have in mind seems a little more complicated than most games I've seen in the Appstore, and I want to be able to make a profit without having to rely on a million downloads at 5 dollars a download.I know that there is also the matter of graphics, but I'm considering using pre-made graphics instead of paying to have everything done from scratch....Show more
Georgianna Zollo: its a ds lite actually
Rashad Marecki: i have a psp and a nintendo ds and a ps2 i mostly play my ps2 i play my portable ones when i have to go away from my house for along time or im going to be in the c! ar for along time they are great entertainment when sitting in the doctors office
Julieta Suleiman: My suggestion would be to start with Adobe Flash, that way you can make the engine yourself. Otherwise, I've found that the Unreal Engine is the easiest way to go.
Kenneth Thuesen:
Monica Voltin: There are tons of ways to interact with other people in SL. You can click the long chat bar at the bottom of your screen and type a message into local chat, this means everyone around you can see what you've said. You can right click the person you wish to speak to, select the IM portion of their interaction wheel, and a private message box will pop up. The only ones who can see this chat is you and this other person. You can also enable voice chat in your browser as long as your computer is equipped with a mic. You can again, either speak in local which means everyone can hear you, or you cal select the 'Call' button inside someones private IM box and make a call ! to that person specifically. They can deny this request. As far as mo! ving and doing things physically with another avi, there is a ton of furniture in SL that gives you poses and actions to do. There is sex furniture like beds and couches, there are lounging places like lliving rooms there are dance halls with dance poses... the options are limitless. If you have a question, simply ask! And search in the groups listing for groups that help new people, like 'noob' or 'newbie'. Good Luck!...Show more
