Do I use quotations in this situation?

Garry Ohmen: Only if its inderect quotes. If its directly to another speaker usee quotes [=kk

Hans Sachetti: According to smith:"The baseball team only scored three runs yesterday and will be searching for a new coach."

Arnette Dominici: no because its not exactly the same but you need to cite your sources... technically every research essay someone writes is just a paraphrase, its only when its an exact statement that quotations are needed

Mozell Sponsler: No, quotation marks will be used if they were coach Smith's exact words.

Blaine Connett: No, you only need quotes with a direct quotation.Paraphrasing only requires what you did, by citing the source in the sentence.

Erica Bottaro: No you don't. You only need quotations when lifting the exact text used by someone else.

Antonia Boomershine: Definitely cite the source, but without the quotes

Lolita Deschamp: No, it would be incorrect to use quotation marks if it's not his exact w! ording.

Jeff Frizzell: I would reccomend putting qutations around it just because paraphrasing is like plagerizing to some teachers. DOn't forget to put the name of the book or website and page it's from.

Launa Weingarten: if they are not the exact words, then no u dont need qoutations

Ramon Dahlheimer: No, quotes are not needed in this situation.

Marhta Teahan: I don't believe so... the only way you need them if is if you are directly quoting that person, which is better then just like summerising the statement... (like give what the statement was then what you think instead) that way you make sure that your feelings aren't influencing the way it comes out.But no, no quotations.

George Dingeldein: I think you do.

Ramona Pago: If you rephrased it you don't need to give quotes

Geraldo Mccalla: yes u still use quotations (:
