Can you teach with a special education minor?

Gregory Dilg: its depends in the ability of the student.but i think you should start in basic topics up to difficult.trust me if you get there heart and interest they communicate to you very well.

Frederick Mccoach: It very much depends on the state that you want to teach in. You will need a bachelor's degree, though you don't necessarily need a major in education (especially since many universities don't offer education as a major). But there are a lot of post-bac teacher certification programs often offered though universities or community colleges. You will need to take a teacher certification test which is different from state to state. Some states require teaching experience in addition. Your best bet is to look up you state's department of education website, and it will likely have the requirements that you need. If you just google your state and education, it will likely be one of the first options to appear....Show more

Serita Hefferon: No you have to! have at least a bachelors in edu, a maters in many states.
