vegetarians don't eat an ANY meat?

Adam Momaya: Yeah thats right...I ate meat once, but I made myself throw it back up.....It tasted good, but I felt so bad....It was yucky. You should only eat nuts and berries...you will be so cool like me!Go VEGGIES!

Donnell Nocella: Labels are dumb. If you choose to call yourself a vegetarian even though you eat fish and eggs, that's fine. If you only choose to cut red meat from your diet, you still have to make a lot of changes and conscious food choices and cooking from a vegetarian cookbook or spending time on vegan websites can really help. Don't worry about those people who want to define you. You define yourself and eat what you enjoy and feel is right for you.

Ricky Frazer: sunflower and wineduch there is not such thing as that your either vegetarian or vegan or meat eater. even if it's not red meat

Erica Bottaro: Yes, vegetarians dont eat any meat. Technically, we shouldnt eat gelatin (marshmallows, jello, gummy stuff, etc) because it has g! rinded up animal bones, hooves, etc.I constantly have to read ingredients on boxes before eating it An unexpected cereal had gelatin so i had to put it back.

Cole Desher: are you actually asking a question??? so you're saying there's no such thing a pescetarian or that there's no such thing as 'pesco-vegatarians'? cuz, pescetarian is in websters dictionary. im sorry but i'll have to give websters dictionary a little more credit then i do some random post on yahoo answers. it's just a word that describes people's diet choice. that's what words do, help us describe things. that's the brilliance of language (although its not one of my strong points, but i try to appreciate it). and people collectively agree on what words mean, which is why new words are developed and even take on new meaning at times.but no, vegetarians don't eat any meat....Show more

Carter Edstrom: i agree. vegetarians eat no meat, poultry or fish. if you eat fish you're not a vegetarian! vegans! eat no animal byproducts and meateaters eat well meat! thats ! just how it is. it bothers me when ppl eat fish and are like "im a vegetarian". arent fish animals? vegetarians are against the killing of animals, so why would we eat fish? simple answer: WE DONT. :)

Stanton Villao: thnx orange mood ^-^

Nilda Bafia: Vegetarians don't eat meat at all

Hye Caulley: Vegetarians can't eat beef, pork, poultry, or seafood.

Tyrone Disanti: Vegetarianism is the practice of a diet that excludes all animal flesh, including poultry, game, fish, shellfish or crustacea, and slaughter by-products. The reasons for choosing vegetarianism may be related to morality, religion, culture, ethics, aesthetics, environment, society, economy, politics, taste, or health. There are several variants of the diet, some of which also exclude eggs and/or some products produced from animal labor such as dairy products and honey. Veganism, for example, excludes all animal products from diet. By some strict definitions, animal products are not used for! attire either, whether or not the production of clothing or items has directly involved the actual death of an animal (dairy, eggs, honey, wool, silk, down feathers, etc.) A generic term for both vegetarianism and veganism, as well as for similar diets, is "Plant-based diets".http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vegetarian.........Semi-vegetarian dietsSemi-vegetarian diets are diets that primarily consist of vegetarian foods, but make exceptions for some non-vegetarian foods. These diets may be followed by those who choose to reduce the amount of animal flesh consumed, or sometimes as a way of transitioning to a vegetarian diet. These terms are neologisms based on the word "vegetarian". They may be regarded with contention by some strict vegetarians, as they combine terms for vegetarian and non-vegetarian diets.Additionally, many individuals describe themselves as simply "vegetarian" while actually practicing a semi-vegetarian diet.Lessetarianism - A diet which focuses on reducing! , but not eliminating, the proportion of animal flesh consumed. Semi-ve! getarianism â€" A diet in which the only animal flesh consumed is seafood and/or poultry, in limited amounts. Pescetarianism â€" A diet in which the only animals consumed are fish or other seafood. Pollotarianism â€" A diet in which the only animals consumed are fowl and poultry. Flexitarianism â€" A diet that consists primarily of vegetarian food, but that allows occasional exceptions....Show more

Enriqueta Steffen: There are differet kinds of vegitarians. Some don't eat any meat at all, some eat only white meat, some eat only seafood, some eat only poultry and then there are vegans who do not eat any meat or animal byproducts.
