Glynda Darrin: Thats right,family isnt always blood.Im going up to tennesee this christmas(if my P.O. lets me),with my best friend vince.He asked me to come up there with him and i said,well isnt it just your family?He said "Man what you talkin bout,you are family!" When i think family,i think of the people who have always been there for me.THAT is my family.

Tyler Burkman: The answer of! each person will vary according to the way they feel about the members of their extended family, and the way they perceive the notion of family in general.I have a friend who considers all her aunts and uncles and cousins from her mother's side as family, whereas all other family member from her father's side she doesn't want to know anything about them. Another friend of mine was adopted, and never knew anything about her blood parents. However, she felt spiritually attached to her biological family, without even knowing them!And in my case, I even feel attached to family members whom I have never known for they were dead long before I was already born. I did tons of research on my great grandparents and things like that. Some people I consider family even though we have no blood connection, like the husband of my sister, or the best friend I grew up with. The people with whom there is an certain degree of commitment.
