If I would audition to SM Entertainment...?

Stanton Degregorio: Im not sure of any trainee or any aritist thats currently on SM Entertainments roster that was accepted through email auditions but I heard that Sohee of the Wonder Girls, JYP Entertainment, was casted through email auditions.Yes, SM Entertainment is known to overwork their artists and is rumored to be one of Korea's most unfair label to their artists in terms of pay and labor. SM Entertainment WILL work you to your limits and as rumors say, you will not get a very good paycheck. But afterall, SM Entertainment has a name and reputation to keep. So that is probably why they work their artists so much. Its either that, or they're just plain MONEY HUNGRY. Because everytime one of their artists appears for a show on mbc ,sbs, thats major cash flow right there.Rumors have it that SM looks for LOOKS then talent. They mostly seek people who look the stereotype asian wich is light skinned. But if SM likes you, then no ! worries there.I might suggest you audition for JYP Entertainment too. They are less harsh at judging when it comes to picking out their trainees....Show more
